my experience
I grew up in Saskatoon and completed my Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Saskatchewan, majoring in Supply Chain Management with a double minor in International Business and Global Politics (USask didn't actually use the "double minor" terminology, but that's effectively what I have). In my final year of my undergraduate degree, I conducted an Honours research project into how Canadian organizations evaluate climate threats and vulnerabilities in their supply chains—work that was recognized with the Best Undergraduate Research Project (Social Sciences & Humanities) and the City of Saskatoon’s Mayor’s Award for City Building.

I went on to complete a Master’s in Infrastructure Protection and International Security at Carleton University, where I focused on national security, emergency management, and the security of critical infrastructure. While in Ottawa, I worked at Public Safety Canada’s Government Operations Centre, where I was involved in national emergency coordination, exercise design and evaluation, and enhancing Canada’s emergency management systems.

Beginning in Fall 2025, I'll be at UCalgary Law, expanding my understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks to complement my technical and operational experience. My goal is to help organizations navigate risk more effectively—especially as they face increasingly complex challenges driven by market changes, (geo)political uncertainty, climate change, and emerging technologies. I'm particularly interested in critical infrastructure resilience, energy and electrification, business continuity, and strategic risk advisory.

You can frequently find me studying society, watching a Flames game, passionately debating (necessary) investments in critical infrastructure, or exploring the city on my bicycles.
